Corporate Matching Gifts
When you make a gift to Bowling Green State University, you may be able to increase the significance of your philanthropy by 50% to 300% when you take advantage of a corporate matching gift program. BGSU receives nearly $300,000 annually through the generosity and efforts of those alumni and friends who are employed by companies that match gifts to higher education. Thousands of companies are willing to assist their employees in supporting the programs that they care about. These charitable programs are a great way for employees, corporations and institutions of higher learning to work together in providing the quality education that every student deserves.
Many companies also offer these programs to their retirees, employee spouses, and board of directors as well. If you qualify according to your company policies, the usual process is to ask your human resources or employee benefits office for their matching gift form. Complete the employee portion and send it along with your gift, made payable to the BGSU Foundation Inc. We will take care of the rest! Many companies also offer online giving and requests for matches for a convenient and fast way of making donations.
